PayPal 2-factor authentication provides an extra layer of protection. Every time you log in to your PayPal account, you should provide additional authentication for logging in, also with a password and username/user email. It provides an effective security layer for your online transactions and accounts from hackers and cybercrime. Whenever you log in to your account, you should also give the 6-digit code so that two layers of security secure your account, and hackers can’t access your account quickly in the case you set up 2-factor authentication on your account; otherwise, it will be at hackers’ attack risk. You should setup PayPal 2-factor authentication to make your account more secure and risk free.
What is 2-factor authentication
2-factor authentication, or 2FA, is a security layer to the account you are signing in to. Suppose anyone logs in with your username and password. In that case, he is also unable to access your account before you provide access to your account by entering a 6-digit code sent to your mobile through the message on your mobile sim card or in the authenticator app. And most interesting is that the code expires in just 10 minutes. After that, the code is automatically generated again, different from the previous one, and you are safe and protected.
